Jesus – Community of the Inner Light

What can be known or written about the man named Jesus? A name used by thousands of male human beings in hundreds of different ethnic, cultural, nationalistic groups within humanity, throughout history. To quest knowledge of a particular human being using a name, Jesus, is to enter into a mystery that can be considered the womb for all mysteries which can only be penetrated by a properly intentional formed WHAT, closely followed with staccatos of who, why, when, and often dismissed as unreal because the mystery will not meet the empirical test of “if I can not see, hear, measure, taste or smell it, the subject of the mystery is not real.” A final judgment may even call it a lie, even dangerous and life threatening, and evil. Don’t even try to understand the mystery and the truth it may contain for others will call you fool.

If we venture into this mystery that envelopes a particular man named Jesus, born over 2000 years ago, we discover that this man, Jesus, since his birth has and still does affect the universe, the physical world and human society.

The human race struggles with His identity. Who is He? Is He God? Is HE man? Both?

It would be wise to let this man, named Jesus to talk for himself, but he left no written word to truly understand Him or His Father and Spirit that He talked about, except once he wrote in dirt/dust, which blew away when he finished. He, this Jesus, did, so it was told teach others his followers what he knew and believed and then they taught others and so on till me. I find it spiritually challenging to accept what others said He said or their added “clarity” (opinions) on what he meant, their interpretation and or the written, authoritative biblical testimonies.

I personally look to the writings of Rocco Errico, Th.D, Ph.D., founder and president of the Noohra Foundation in Smyrna, Georgia. He is the author of many writings about Jesus’ teachings and the language Jesus would have spoken. That language, Aramaic, used by Jesus was very colorful with dramatic expressions in talking even today, a type of common metaphysical style for the average man or woman. Examples of this metaphysical way of speaking are as follow:

“Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then the Jews said, ‘it has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you will raise it up in three days?’ But He was speaking of the temple of His body.” John 2:19-21

“We must be born again.” John 3:3

Yet I do believe in Jesus the Christ exemplified by the following:

“Jesus said to him ‘I am the way, the truth and the life no one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also, and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.'” John 14:6-7

“Then Jesus cried out and said ‘he who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.'” John 12:44

“‘Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do He will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever’ the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father and you in Me, and I in you.'” John 14:10-20

I believe and accept, “He, Jesus the Christ, lives as the Trinity in me, through me and as me and I in Him, eternally so.”
